I'd like to see a Warrior that can actually dps. It's true that Rangers aren't made for dps, but we still do it better than a warrior.

A single target spammable attack, or a massive aoe attack > crip one target with no bonus damage.

Wow! Around 30 damage every second! That's like a little more than a dervish simply auto-attacking with a scythe!
I'm proud of you using your ELITE to do such awesome levels of DPS!

Dragon slash. Even without FGJ, I believe it will still out damage you against a single target using gash -> sever -> sun and moon -> d-slash.
Not to mention c-spacing with a war will give you pretty good dps in itself...
On Topic: My vote goes to: Burning Arrow, Broad Head Arrow, and Crippling Shot.

Barrage actually helps control the battlefield reasonably well in pve if you have a friend with you that can give you great dwarf weapon || + 20 damage +40% KD chance (at R10) on every arrow is 1337... otherwise there are much better things you could carry.
For PvP I would say [skill]Crippling Shot[/skill]

in pve in elite area's, i really like BHA. It's the best ranger skill in pve in my opinion. Barrage is only nice, in a few area's, with loads of mobs clumped together. The other area's, barrage is just bad.

Hi,
You can capture all the elites for future use, but may only use 1 at a time. There is no "best". I suggest using GuildWiki to research their stats. Some people make it a hobby to do nothing but go after elite skills. Prior to doing any mission or quest, check wiki for possible bosses (elites) in the area. Remember, you will have to take up a valuable skill slot with a purchased "skill capture" signet so always let your team members know.

There's nothing I can say that can add to the hilarity of this post.

Started the post with such promise, then....
45 sec recharge, disabling that apply poison/kindle arrows/troll unguent/Zojun's haste.....yeah, I'd take Healing Breeze first.
Oh, and [skill]prepared shot[/skill]. Though the best skill on the ranger bar, [skill]distracting shot[/skill] , isn't even an elite.
Shhhh...

Poison Arrow or Melandru's Resiliance or Broadhead Arrow, Burning Arrow maybe too..
Poison Arrow+Screaming Shot for nice degen or Broadhead to daze and follow with Distracting or Savage or Choking Gas so they can't cast is nice too
Melandru's if you are in an area of heavy conditions and/or hexes

[skill]Prepared shot[/skill] + PVE skills is definitely the way to go IMO.
Add [skill]read the wind[/skill] for your prep, [skill]Distracting shot[/skill] and [skill]concussion shot[/skill] for interrupts, and then [skill]penetrating attack[/skill] and [skill]sundering attack[/skill] if you want damage.
That leaves you with 1 slot for a rez and 1 slot for a PvE skill, or 1 slot for a rez and 2 or 3 slots for PvE skills if you drop one or both of the damage skills (never drop the prep or interrupts though).
